A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Clare.

I am a lifestyle and portrait photographer based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Aside from photography, I love science, making coffee, and growing house plants!

I find photography to be the perfect blend of science and artistic expression and believe a good photograph combines natural emotion with careful composition. So, my photography style is more of a relaxed, lifestyle shoot with some light prompting.

I became interested in photography in High School, when I saved money and bought my first Canon DSLR camera. It quickly grew into a passion as I created portraits of my friends.

While I attended Virginia Tech, I worked as a photographer for the university. I documented sports games, events, ceremonies, and graduations. I also worked in a studio setting, taking faculty portraits. Since graduating, I have continued to capture memories while travelling with my husband, little boy, and our dog.

I am currently using a Canon 5DsR and looking to add to my portfolio!
